Rachel Martin is a passionate entrepreneur, small business owner and philanthropist in the southern Maine / Seacoast New Hampshire region. Martin is the Founder & CEO of Forward Motion, LLC, a philanthropic events company which operates three major race events and provides the cornerstone of the "Southern 207 Race Series." Martin is the Race Director for the Pumpkinman Triathlon Festival which runs 4 races over two days; Half Iron, Olympic , Sprint and Children’s Splash and Dash. Martin is founder and race director for "Rick's Run" a Veterans Charity 5K Race in honor of her late Father on Memorial day weekend. Martin also is founder and race director for "Luna Run," an all women's run/walk for charity in southern Maine. She is on the race director committee for USA Triathlon, and helps coordinate their annual summit, and is also becoming a member of Triathlon Business International Women's Mentorship program. Martin has founded several small businesses in the areas of personal health and real estate investment. She has run several nonprofit foundations and has lead charitable fundraising activity that has raised many hundreds of thousands of dollars. Martin is a Board Member and fundraising chair for the Marshwood Education Foundation, a Board Member for Sobo Central Non-Profit Charity Organization and delegate to the “first in the nation“ Common Ground Sister City Project for South Berwick and Tuskegee Alabama. Rachel is the mother of 3 and resides in southern Maine with her husband, Brad.
